Rabat is a very busy and messy big city. There is traffic, it´s noisy, it stinks (way too much smog), there are too many people and sometimes you just need a moment to relax, to run away from that mess.

And, if you are in need of running away, the Andalusian Gardens definitely are the place for you.

Located inside the Kasbah, these gardens are open from sunrise to sunset and the entrance is free. Here you can a walk between amazing trees and flowers, find (finally!) postcards and stamps, stare at beautiful doors and meet a very large community of cats.

I really loved the wooden doors painted in light blue, the fountains and the flowers swimming in a little basin. Everything has a wonderful scent, you can hear the birds singing and see couples sitting in the shadow: beautiful!

This is the perfect place to breathe, to relax, to step away from the noise and to enjoy how beautiful nature can be.
